As a congregation, we gather for worship each Sunday morning st 10:30 am. Our worship follows a fairly traditional Presbyterian order of service, moving through the phases of “Gathering Around the Word,” “Hearing the Word,” and “Responding to the Word.” We’d love to have you worship with us.
We celebrate God’s movement through the world and through the church year, observing the seasons of the liturgical calendar and services of worship that keep us in stride with God’s work in the world. Through the year, we are blessed with wonderful music from our chancel choir, our organist and accompanist and the many talents of the members of our congregation. Our children provide us with song, art and drama in worship throughout the year.
We gather for many special services of worship, including:
- Longest Night
- Christmas Eve
- New Year’s Eve
- Ash Wednesday
- Community Lenten Services with the Marion Ministerial Alliance
- Maundy Thursday
- Community Good Friday Service
- Easter Sunrise
- Outdoor Service and Fish Fry each fall
We pray for each other, for our world, for our worship, for those we care about and those we have never and might never meet. In praying together our fellowship, spirituality, and faith are strengthened.
After worship, we us gather in the Fellowship Hall for a time of fellowship around coffee and other goodies. In this way, we are able to strengthen our community and our fellowship.
