1 Corinthians 12:1-13
Now, I already made a mistake. You don’t have just one gift, as the
title implies. You are gifted. I don’t mean in that honors track sense of
academically gifted. I mean gifted, equipped, and sent by God. Do you
know what God gave you?
Not just what your parents said you were good at, or said so that
you’d feel better, not just what your friends say about you, not just what
you think you’re good at, or skilled at, or like to do. What are you gifted
with? What did God gift you? And what did God gift you to do? To be? To
witness? To change? To transform? To resurrect? To heal? To fight
injustice? To listen?
