We celebrate the gift of the Spirit on Pentecost, and all of the gifts that come with the Spirit. We remember that the Spirit has been poured out upon us from our youth, and through our lives.
In the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), we give a gift of gratitude and thanksgiving at Pentecost that helps the church encourage, develop, and support its young people, and also address the needs of at-risk children. 40% of the Pentecost offering can be retained by individual congregations wanting to make an impact in the lives of young people within their own community. The remaining 60% is used to support ministries of the Presbyterian Mission Agency:
Join us in worship, and join us in giving thanks to God for the Spirit poured out upon us all!
